Stringing and wiring

Review string assignments, conductor settings, and wire routes.

Start with the module, inverter, and string length settings in the design. Inverter groups organize which fields supply each group of inverters.

Stringing

Open Stringing in the editor toolbar. Review the settings for the selected equipment and the string assignments shown on the layout.

Stringing follows the inverter’s MPPT inputs and its specified DC/AC limit. Check warnings for modules that are not in a string or strings that are not assigned to an inverter.

Review stringing after changing modules, inverter models, field geometry, or individual module placement.

Conductors

Use the Conductors step in engineering setup to review wire defaults and conductor ratings. The Inverters step covers the related DC equipment.

Select an AC wire to inspect its size, material, installation, and parallel runs. Some values depend on the selected equipment and may be read-only.

Routes and heights

Place electrical equipment before reviewing wire routes. Use the map controls to adjust the available wire waypoints, then inspect the route in 3D.

Check the heights of individual runs in the wire inspector. A route that looks acceptable from above can still need height changes.

After editing equipment or routes, review the DC String and AC Wiring schedules.
