# Weatherfiles

Upload and select hourly weather data for energy modeling.

Open **Settings › Features › Weatherfiles** to manage your organization's uploaded weather data.

## Upload

Use the upload action and select a TMY CSV in the supported NSRDB layout with 8,760 hourly rows. Review the upload dialog's requirements and any validation errors.

Choose how the file's timestamps should be read: local time or UTC. This must match the file. Check its location, source, and time basis after upload.

Uploading a weather CSV through the editor also adds it to the library and selects it for that design.

## Manage files

The library shows the file's name, location, source, and time information. Use the row actions to rename, download, delete, or change how timestamps are interpreted.

Changing the time basis affects how the file is used. Confirm it against the source data before modeling again.

## Select for a design

In the field inspector, choose the uploaded file under **Weather**. The weather source applies to the design, so check it before comparing results.

Provider weather sources are configured through [Integrations](https://docs.staging.solesca.com/system/integrations/). Review provider availability and account requirements there.

## Check results

After changing the weather source, run [Model](https://docs.staging.solesca.com/editor/simulate/) again. Use the [hourly energy export](https://docs.staging.solesca.com/downloads/energy/#hourly) to review the weather and production values used in the estimate.
